Guitar lessons built around the songs your student wants to play
Whether it's a first lesson at age six or picking the instrument back up at fifty, our teachers meet each student where they are and build a plan toward what they actually want to play.
Electric or acoustic
We teach both, and help you figure out which fits your student's style and goals before you buy.
Every style welcome
Rock, pop, jazz, blues, metal, country, and classical — lessons are built around the music your student wants to play.
Bring your own songs
Students are encouraged to bring in a favorite riff or song on their phone — every lesson ends with something fun.
Free recitals, twice a year
Students perform at no charge — no participation fees, and admission is always free for family and friends.
Month-to-month, always
No contracts, no annual material fees, no semester minimums. Leave whenever you need to.
Family Safety Plan
Office staff present during every lesson, security cameras, and large observation windows in every lesson room.
Taught by musicians who've actually done it
Our guitar faculty trained at institutions like Berklee College of Music, Grand Valley State University, the University of Miami, and Michigan State University, with performance experience across the US, Europe, Asia, and beyond — including performances for three different U.S. presidents.

Do I need to already know how to read music?
No. Beginners are welcome at any age, from five years old through adult.
Do I need to buy a guitar?
Yes, you'll need a guitar to practice at home. We're happy to point you toward the right electric or acoustic for your student's size and style.
What about ukulele or mandolin?
Both are close cousins of the guitar and often easier for younger students — smaller, with strings that are easier to press down.
How are teachers matched to students?
We match you based on age, experience, and the style of music you want to learn, usually within a week.
